THREE BITES EVERYONE KNOWS THE RULES
ONE
The restaurant industry is a beast.
You work long hours, you are always on your feet, you get burned, cut, and bruised. Now the amount of time and work I see my people pour into their jobs is motivating every day. The opposite of that is anyone who uses yelp to negatively review anything without giving an establishment a chance to make it right.
Why as a people do we think we can go into a restaurant and expect to be served as if we are King Baratheon from Game of Thrones?
The service industry is tough and everyone has bad days, but even on our best days, there is always some asshole who thinks his elite yelp status has given him a Ph.D. in BBQ Chicken (This is something someone actually wrote).
People have the audacity to tell us how to act, how to cook, and how to work from the comfort of their couch.
All I am saying is if you really have a problem with any establishment talk to them. Not the internet.
TWO
Is eating vegan even healthy?
Should it be?
I weigh in on it HERE. Check it out!
THREE
Kobe Bryant is a legend. He is someone I believe is a champion.
He is someone who never stopped working on his greatness. He is a beacon of what hard work does. These are 2 of his quotes. One about showing up, and the other about keeping lazy out of the conversation. Important things in the service industry.
“I’ve played with IVs before, during and after games. I’ve played with a broken hand, a sprained ankle, a torn shoulder, a fractured tooth, a severed lip, and a knee the size of a softball. I don’t miss 15 games because of a toe injury that everybody knows wasn’t that serious in the first place.”
“I can’t relate to lazy people. We don’t speak the same language. I don’t understand you. I don’t want to understand you.”
