I’ve been owner of PURGATORY PIZZA since 2016 and I’m on my way to opening up my newest concept, HOT TONGUE PIZZA. I’m extremely passionate about pizza and plant-based cuisine.
I love cooking. I love pizza. I love art and emotion being put into everything. I am excessively critical, incredibly anxious, highly sensitive and over-emotional. Those are my super powers.
I’ve always drawn a lot of parallels from my background in the music industry and applied them to food. Running a restaurant is a lot like being in a band.
Your team is your band, service is the shows, your customers are the fans and your food is the music.
I have a broad knowledge of bread baking, which contributes to the most important part of any pizza shop: the dough and its process. Additionally, I’m extremely versed in plant-based cuisine, from house-made vegan cheeses & meats to curating menu items that not only vegans will enjoy.
