Marinara Sauce
This simple yet satisfying recipe for marinara holds true to keeping it simple but that doesn’t mean we will hold back on flavor.

What You'll need
- Kitchen scale
- Immersion Blender
Ingredients
- 90 grams Diced Yellow Onion
- 1 tsp Olive Oil (for sautéing onion)
- 28 oz Organic Bianco Dinapoli Crushed Tomato
- 12 grams Olive Oil
- 9 grams Kosher Salt
- 8 grams Oregano
- 3 grams Pepper
- 10 grams Basil
- 45 grams Water
Instructions
- Dice up your onion
- Heat a large saucepan and then add the oil
- Add onion and let them brown a bit at medium to high heat
- Take pan off heat
- Add the salt, pepper, and oregano
- Pour sauce into pan and mix everything together
- Put back on medium heat
- Cook down sauce for about 10 minutesÂ
- Add water and cook for another 5 minutes
- Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes
- Add the contents to a food processor
- Add basil and pulse 15-20 times
