1.2.3. Your Worth Is Determined By Your Perception, Boss Baby Wisdom, and An Exciting Collaboration

Hey, it’s Alex,

In business, and most importantly in life, it’s crucial to understand your own worth.

While some people may overestimate theirs, I would argue that many of us undervalue what we bring to the table as individuals. Recognizing your strengths and specialties should never be overlooked or undervalued.

It has taken me a long time to truly believe in myself and the knowledge I’ve accumulated over the years.

Despite having put in my 10,000 hours, I still find myself feeling insecure in the presence of individuals with larger personalities but less experience. However, I’m slowly realizing that my worth is determined by my own perception.

There’s a scene in “Boss Baby” where Tim and Big Boss Baby are escaping from Eugene, the villain. Tim says, “I can’t ride without my training wheels!” and Boss Baby responds with, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right!”

This resonates with me deeply.

I can achieve anything as long as I believe I can, and if I can’t, I’m fortunate to have both professional and emotional support in my life to help me get there.

“You either run the day or the day runs you.”

-Big Boss Baby

I am currently working on a very special collaboration project. It’s amazing to work with such talented people whose shops are thousands of miles away from me. Stay tuned!

Love, crust, and pizza dust,
