1.2.3. Appreciation: Show & Tell

Hey thereโ€” Alex here,

I think we can all agree that sometimes a simple โ€œthank youโ€ goes a long way.

Appreciation is such a major tool in a happy business and happy life. I appreciate the people in my life, but actually taking the step to vocalize it is something I occasionally come up short on.

I keep a lot of feelings of appreciation inside of me unknowingly. My wife can probably tell you that there have been a couple times when she hasnโ€™t felt appreciated.

It’s a reminder for me to be more open vocally about how much I care about all the people in my life. I appreciate their service, their struggles, their work, and Iโ€™d like to say thank you more often for their kindness and for the opportunity to learn from them.

There are other ways to show appreciation, besides dialogue, but sometimes just a simple โ€œthank youโ€ goes a long way.

Itโ€™s something I am getting better at expressing, so to all of you reading this, I appreciate you! Thank you, thank you.

โ€œDonโ€™t let the sun go down without saying thank you to someone, and without admitting to yourself that absolutely no one gets this far alone.โ€
