The search for the best slice of pizza is a journey that is personal to everyone. A lot of what I love today has a lot to do with how I enjoyed it as a kid.
To me there was nothing like a Friday night starting off with two piping hot boxes of Costco Pizza, and some Dad’s Rootbeer.
Although it’s not the most “authentic” slice, it’s authentically part of my pizza journey.

Veganuary is a celebration of everything vegan, and maybe even trying to go plant-based for the whole month.
We have some exciting things we’re working on.

I’ve had a long run of judging and assuming in the music industry, and the hospitality realm.
It has served me negatively every time, and it’s cut off many possibilities.
Refraining from judgment allows us to fully be open to every experience, any person, any belief and breeds more creativity and understanding.
So, if you judged me for loving Costco Pizza, I forgive you. Be open to it.
EXTRA SLICE: The only time I ever read a book as a kid was for the Pizza Hut “BOOK IT” program.
It was the only time I got Pizza Hut.
I will never forget that personal pan pizza, and sharing it with my little brother Aaron.
I couldn’t tell you any of the books I read, but I could describe everything about opening up that box and woofing down that pie.
