Hey, it’s Alex,
Sometimes, it feels like we’re all waiting for someone to come in and rescue us from whatever struggle we’re facing…
Maybe that’s why we look to politicians, religion, or even influencers to turn things around for us.
From a young age, we’re taught to admire powerful figures, celebrities, and “demi-gods.” I don’t recall anyone teaching me to be my own savior.
It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the world’s problems or caught up in other people’s drama, but in doing so, we often forget about the things we can control. The kindness we bring to each day, the understanding we offer, the hard work we put in, and the space we create for others—sometimes just offering someone a kind gesture can change their life.
Change doesn’t happen overnight, no matter how much we wish it would. The reality is, there’s no difference between Kim Kardashian and Chris Bianco—it’s all about how we perceive them, how they’re presented, and the means that grant them influence, whether that’s money or success.
But in the end, we all bleed, we all die, and we’re all capable of being what we want if we are capable of putting in the work. We are capable of making the change we talk about with our friends.
Everything starts within us.
Whether you’re afraid of starting a business or losing the one you have, it’s important to believe that your fate is in your hands.
The truth is, 99% of the time, no one is going to save you—so you have to save yourself. Believe in yourself, be kind to yourself and thats how you change your world.
“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” —Theodore Roosevelt

Halloween at Hot Tongue is always a blast, and this year was our busiest day ever. Praise be!
