1.2.3. The Journey is The Goal

Hey, it’s Alex,

The meaning of life is a question that’s been explored by everyone from philosophers to everyday people, and while the answer may be different for each of us, it often boils down to connection, growth, and purpose.

At its core, life is about the relationships we build and the impact we have on others. It’s about finding joy in the small moments and striving toward something bigger than ourselves. Whether it’s love, creativity, or helping others, purpose gives our lives direction.

Life isn’t about having all the answers but embracing the journey, learning, evolving, and making the most of the time we have. It’s about the time we get to share, to struggle, to have with one another in good and in bad. Time is a gift, the journey is the goal and none of the joy or pain should be wasted.

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” – Vivian Greene

This past Sunday, I had the chance to cook with my friends from Quarantine Pizza at the Smorgasburg LA, an outdoor market in downtown Los Angeles. It was a ton of work but even more fun, and it was all made possible by the best ovens around! It’s always fun to mix things up and jump outside of your comfort zone!

Love, crust, and pizza dust,

Alex Koons
