Never underestimate the power of a break.
Taking some time for yourself and your family couldn’t be more overstated, while at the same time so easily brushed aside.
It can be hard to turn off.
But whether it’s a week of vacation or 20 minutes of meditation it is imperative to relax, meditate, pray, and just step out of yourself from time to time.
I always say to my team… you have to take care of YOU first to be able to take care of everyone else.
Mental health and health in general are the most important things in any human existence.
Personally, I should be doing this more often.
I’ve dealt with guilt, anxiety, and boredom when I take time off and it’s taken me years to understand the importance of giving my body a chance to rest, letting my mind relax, and the batteries to recalibrate.
So, make sure you find some time for a break, whatever that looks like for you.
You deserve it!
