I just spent a week with my family at one of my favorite places in the world: the Jersey Shore.
There is a unique energy at the Atlantic beaches, with tourists bustling about, the “shoobies” on the island, as my wife calls them.
The wind feels different, and the food somehow tastes better when accompanied by your family’s laughter. I had an incredible culinary experience on this trip that has truly left me reeling.
The East Coast has a certain romance in its history and a pride in its people.
Weeks like this inspire and reinvigorate me, reminding me that it’s not places or things that make experiences great—it’s people.
It’s vital to enjoy, learn, and grow with those around you throughout your life. The last seven days were, as my son described every time we got in our rental car, “magical.”
