Three quick bites to enhance your pizza game
ONE
Commitment. We make commitments every day. I commit to writing a newsletter every Tuesday to be sent out Wednesday morning. I commit to showing up every day to be the best person I possibly can be. Somedays though its beyond hard to commit. Some Tuesdays I have no time or no idea what to say in a newsletter. Somedays I am not my best self, but I know sometimes itโs just about trying than it is about being your greatest.
Itโs interesting how easy it is to do things that hurt commitment. Lie, complain, make excuses, gossip, or do absolutely nothing at all. Itโs easy to sit on a couch and judge other people, itโs easy to make excuses to why you arenโt doing what you say you want, its easy because you are committing to nothing. Change happens within ourselves, our opinions of the world happen inside ourselves, our beliefs and motivations all have everything to do with us.
Commit with 100 percent of yourself and you canโt fail because in the process there will be so much more to be thankful for than just a finish line.
TWO
Gluten free bagels, chipotle aioli, and vegan sausage oh my! These are a couple recipe videos we have cooking up for you. While we are working on these, check out this old recipe for Italian guacamole. PESTO BABY!
THREE
โThe biggest commitment you must keep is your commitment to yourself.โ
Neale Donald Walsch
I think the toughest commitments are the ones we have to be accountable for personally, the ones that come with what feels like very little consequence. Like when you donโt work out like you said you would, you keep eating chocolate, you buy more cigarettes, you donโt learn how to speak Spanish after your third app purchase.
Those small failed commitments add up and can make people feel like shit. Well, donโt feel like shit about it, that’s just a vicious cycle. Be good on your word, be good on your commitments, that’s the rocket ship to the top.
EXTRA SLICE: I had this song stuck in my head the whole time I was writing this.
