5 Products I Love for Making Pizza at Home

Making pizza at home might be easier than you think.

Today I’m going to share my all-time favorite products for making incredible homemade pizza that much easier and more enjoyable.

The price of these products ranges quite a bit, so I just want to say upfront that it’s not necessary to buy expensive equipment to make pizza at home. This is just what I use and love.

If you can get your hands on any of these items I highly recommend you try them out.

This is post is not sponsored and I’m not affiliated with any of these brands or products, I just really love what they allow me to do when it comes to making pizza at home for my friends and family.

I hope you find them helpful too. Enjoy!

1. An Immersion Blender

I use this for just about everything! It’s really clutch though for sauces.

I recommend this Cuisinart . It can emulsify and pulverize whatever you need!

2. A Pizza Oven

My Breville Pizzaiolo pizza oven is legitimately a professional-grade pizza oven on my countertop.

I can make multiple styles from pan, Neapolitan to New York-style pizza.

Although the price is pretty steep, the quality and versatility of the oven is amazing and cannot be matched.

3. A Pizza Cutter

A good-ass pizza cutter is clutch when it comes to pizza. It might sound dumb, but I would def spend the extra money for a Dexter slicer!

Whether you are a home pizza chef, or commercial this is the way to go.

4. A Scale

The Acteck Scale. I use this thing to weigh out just about everything!

It’s the perfect scale, I think, and can take quite a beating. Because it’s not designed for kitchen use sometimes it doesn’t read the really really lightweight ingredients.

As a bonus, I use this scale as well.

5. A Mixer

The all-mighty Kitchen Aid for dough making.

This thing is a workhorse and does the exact same job my Hobart does at the shop.

Although a home mixer is definitely not necessary, sometimes it helps when your hands just don’t feel like kneading your dough.

Go ahead, try them out!

That’s all! Of course, you can make amazing homemade pizza without having to spend a fortune.  If you are just getting started out I would say first see what you can do with the tools you have available to you already.

These are just some of the products I use, if you can get your hands on them, I highly recommend you try them out.

Love, crust, and pizza dust,

Alex Koons
