Virgil Abloh, designer, artist, musician, father, husband, son, founder of Off White, and the creative director of Louie Vuitton passed away a week ago.
His death had me reflecting on one of his quotes when talking about what he would tell his younger self. He said:
“The struggle is the point”
We struggle every day and it’s how we react to those struggles that makes us the person we want to be tomorrow.
I am thankful for people like Virgil who help me see the world in a different way, I am thankful for everyone who is reading this or not reading this.
Death reminds us that everything is borrowed. So go out and steal everything you can.
